Kindle

In Search of Gelato is now available on Amazon for a Kindle subscription. This is for any of my readers (like my grandmother) who use a Kindle, but not a computer. Amazon sets the monthly subscription price, and they set the price at $1.99 per month. The Kindle subscription means all new blog posts are sent to your Kindle each time you turn on the WiFi or 3G. I'm still working out the kinks on the publishing site, such as why my screenshot, tags, and blog description are not showing up on the Amazon page. If anyone subscribes and has problems, please email me as this is a first for me. For those of you who have been following the blog, this regular site will not be affected - you can still access the blog for free using your normal process. But if you want to get the blog on your Kindle, here is the subscription page:

In Search of Gelato for Kindle

When I wrote this post, the next paragraph was a long lovefest about my Kindle. I deleted it because in reviewing the post, I realized that you probably really don't care about all the great things I want to say about eReaders. So I'll just summarize: I resisted an eReader because I like actual books. I decided to buy a Kindle due to our constant traveling and weekend trips here in Italy. I love it. I adore it. My shoulders love it since now I carry a device the size of a piece of paper instead of three or more books. Three because if we're on a weekend trip, I might finish reading the first book. Then, I might not like the second book, so the third book was the backup to my backup book. The End.

  1. And God forbid that you might be without a book to read for even a few hours.

  2. A few hours! May that never, ever, come to pass. A few minutes, I might be able to live with.
